MAGICAL REALISM
In my 'Magical Realism' paintings I often illuminate the ecological, cosmological, and transformational wisdom of the 'Sacred Way' of a humble Shaman - a path I travel and share. That ancient lineage of healers and seers was often at the center of my art. This work offers my viewers a firsthand account of many of the natural and supernatural worlds I explored to carry out that healing. Many of these distill my experiences and convey what happened not to be understood with words. Many paintings tackle the concept of the sublime and the idea of infinity. In these the macro can become the micro and vice versa. The actual space I create becomes a state of mind.
