SAND PAINTINGS

My 'Sand Paintings' are another series exploring sand as a mode of expression within this genre.  A patient viewer will receive a sense of the sea and the beauty of water breaking in wave action over sand.  These speak to my bond to our planet and no doubt were influenced by my life living near the ocean in Santa Barbara and San Diego, California.  I became fascinated with the gray brush strokes mother nature left on many beaches.  I am intrigued by the subtle colors that create a masterpiece of knowledge and beauty in the sand beneath our feet.
